AI Call Review
Make recorded calls easier to review and coach. Suede AI evaluates conversations against agreed criteria, connects observations to transcript evidence and prepares a useful summary for the sales manager.
What your team receives
- Agreed call-review rubricObservable criteria and guidance for incomplete or ambiguous conversation evidence.
- Scored transcript observationsReview results linked to the relevant exchange, with uncertainty visible where the input is unclear.
- Manager coaching summaryA readable account of the reviewed calls, recurring themes and specific examples for discussion.
A defined scope, an accountable owner and a useful handover.
Define what a useful conversation looks like
Your coaching rubric determines what the review should look for. Criteria might cover whether the representative understood the customer problem, addressed the question asked and agreed a clear next step. The sales manager supplies examples and explains how the team applies each criterion.
We turn those expectations into review instructions with observable evidence. A criterion such as clear next step should point to an actual commitment in the conversation. Where the transcript lacks enough information, the review records that gap for the manager.
Keep observations connected to the call
The workflow uses the approved recordings or transcripts and the agreed review criteria. Each meaningful observation should identify the relevant passage or available timestamp so a manager can inspect the exchange in context.
Transcript quality matters to the interpretation. Missing sections, unclear speakers and uncertain wording should surface as review issues. A manager can return to the recording when available, correct a mistaken interpretation and keep an uncertain passage from becoming a firm coaching conclusion.
Turn repeated patterns into focused coaching
The output gives a manager a practical starting point: the observations, supporting excerpts and questions worth discussing with the representative. Across the reviewed set, a summary can group recurring themes while retaining links to the underlying calls.
We check the workflow on selected examples with the manager before accepting it. That review tests whether the rubric is applied consistently and whether the summary helps someone coach. Script-specific adherence belongs in a separate comparison against the approved script version; this service addresses the broader coaching rubric.
How the work is delivered
- Agree the rubric Select coaching criteria, approved call inputs and the manager who will review interpretations and exceptions.
- Review sample conversations Produce transcript-based observations and compare them with the manager’s reading of the same calls.
- Prepare the coaching handoff Refine the criteria, record accepted examples and provide summaries with a clear route back to the evidence.
Example: improving next-step conversations
Illustrative example
A manager wants to understand whether representatives leave buyers with an agreed next action. The review gathers relevant exchanges and distinguishes a stated commitment from a general invitation to call back. The manager checks those examples and chooses the coaching response.
Questions about AI Call Review
Do you need existing call recordings?
The review needs approved recordings or usable transcripts from your call process. We agree the permitted inputs, access and retention handling during scoping. A sample establishes whether the available material supports the intended coaching criteria.
Does AI replace the sales manager's judgment?
The manager remains responsible for coaching decisions. AI review organizes the evidence and applies the agreed rubric so the manager can examine more useful material. Ambiguous interpretations and consequential feedback stay with the designated human reviewer.
