Generative engine optimization agency. Hold your Google rankings. Win the AI answer above them.

Suede AI SEO is a generative engine optimization agency in West Palm Beach, Florida, run by founder Jason Colapietro. It serves businesses that already invest in SEO and still go unnamed when buyers ask an assistant what to buy. Generative engine optimization (GEO) gets you into those written answers: we keep the classic SEO work running, measure what the engines say about you, and repair the sources they read.

A generative engine optimization agency measures what AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google’s AI results) answer about a business, then repairs the sources those answers are assembled from. It keeps classic technical and content SEO running underneath, and adds the press and entity records machines quote back.

"Advanced SEO services" is a phrase sold two different ways. In most agency menus it means a longer list of the same search work: more technical checks, more content, more links, priced upward. This page is the hub for the other definition: the work re-aimed at where buying decisions actually happen now, the answers AI engines write when somebody asks what to buy, with classic search kept intact underneath it.

That re-aiming is what a generative engine optimization agency is for. The sections below define the work, answer the four questions buyers ask most before hiring anyone (what advanced SEO actually is, whether ChatGPT can do it, whether SEO is dead, and what the services should cost), and end with the evaluation questions that separate a provider who ships from a provider who reports.

What is advanced SEO?

The practical definition of advanced SEO services in 2026 is: everything in the conventional list, plus measuring what the engines say about you and repairing the sources they read.

The conventional definition is a menu of techniques past the on-page basics: log-file analysis, JavaScript rendering and crawl-budget work, structured data at scale, internal-link engineering, entity optimization, Core Web Vitals. Agencies publish long versions of that list. ThatWare’s advanced SEO services page runs to dozens of items, and Americaneagle.com’s write-up of advanced techniques covers much of the same ground. None of it is wrong. It is the table stakes of a competitive category, competently described.

What the conventional lists mostly leave out is the surface that moved. A growing share of buying research now starts as a question to an assistant, and an answer engine does not return ten links: it writes a short answer naming a handful of companies, assembled from source pages it selected. Advanced SEO that stops at rankings optimizes the list while the decision is being made in the paragraph above it.

The full split between generative engine optimization and classic search work (the geo vs seo question) is defined at What is GEO? and compared point by point in GEO vs SEO; the short version is that SEO competes for position in a ranked list while GEO competes for inclusion in a written answer, and the two share most of their foundations.

What do generative engine optimization services include?

Generative engine optimization services cover four fronts run by one team: measurement of AI answers with dated captures, repair of the sources engines read, the press and entity records engines quote, and classic technical and content SEO underneath. Fixes land in your CMS or codebase, listed one by one.

The name is newer than the discipline. A generative engine optimization agency runs full-stack GEO: four fronts that a conventional SEO services company usually runs one of. Buyers searching for generative engine optimization services, answer engine optimization services, or an AI SEO agency are describing the same scope from different ends, so the four fronts below are the ones to compare vendors against. The AEO services page follows a single buyer question through that work, and the AI SEO agency buyer guide covers reviews, best-of lists and what the label costs.

The managed engagement starts with an approved prompt portfolio and a prioritized repair backlog. Each selected finding names the buyer decision, the source or page to change, the approval owner and the check that will confirm implementation. Review the AI search visibility audit scope when you need that diagnostic baseline before choosing the repairs.

Measurement of AI answers

Dated captures of what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI results answer about a business and its category, repeated across engines and across days so that a change means something. One answer, on one day, from one engine is an anecdote. The free AI citation check takes one such reading across four buyer questions; the metric comes from repeating it. The complete measurement design (prompt construction, sampling, scoring, and its limits) is published in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): A Practical Guide.

A white rack of clear glass sample vials in even rows and columns on a white lab bench, with one vial holding blue liquid
Every capture is kept, not only the score. Each reading records the prompt, the engine, the date and the sources cited, so when one answer changes you can open that capture and see which source moved it.

AI visibility monitoring repeats the agreed questions and records material changes. The change report pairs the published URL and release date with the later answer capture, keeping mentions, factual accuracy and citations separate. You can inspect the shipped work and the subsequent observation in the same record.

Repair of the sources engines read

An AI answer is assembled from documents: third-party writeups, comparison pages, forums, documentation, sometimes your own site. The repair work runs in order of leverage: crawler access first, then entity clarity, then the third-party pages engines actually cite, then machine-readable structure and specific checkable claims on your own pages. Who does that shipping, and how to tell a vendor who ships from one who sends a report, is covered in GEO implementation.

Press and reputation, run for machines as much as readers

Engines quote records: coverage, entity graphs, knowledge panels, third-party evidence. An LLM SEO company that cannot land press or build an entity record is missing the lever that most often changes what an answer says. The engine is citing documents other people wrote. The practice here is GEO, PR and reputation together rather than a keyword deliverable.

Classic SEO underneath

Technical repair, content that answers what buyers actually ask, site architecture engines can follow. The classic work is not displaced; it is the substrate the newer work stands on, and a national SEO services engagement that skips it will not hold.

The version of this we sell is a retainer run by Suede AI, in partnership with Google Cloud since September 2025, and the practice publishes its receipts: every credential and claim behind it sits on the receipts page with its capture and date. The method itself is not held back for clients: the whole of it is published free as a book and a printable checklist on this site.

How does query fan-out change GEO research?

A buyer may ask one detailed question while Google’s AI features retrieve material through several related searches. Google calls this query fan-out and says AI Overviews and AI Mode may use it. The exact retrieval queries for a particular answer are not exposed to a site owner. Our audit maps the questions an answer would need to resolve; it does not claim to reverse-engineer Google’s hidden searches.

A single blue pipe feeds a white manifold on a graphite wall, which splits into five white pipes, each ending above its own empty white tray
One question, several retrievals. Each branch can be answered from a different source, so a page that covers the question as typed can still leave a branch with nothing to draw on. The audit checks every branch for a source.

Take an illustrative buyer prompt: “Which GEO and SEO agency can improve a small company’s AI visibility, fix the site itself, show evidence, and avoid an open-ended commitment?” That is one request with several decision points. We check the source material for each point before proposing another page.

For a client, we turn real buyer questions into a similar map, inventory the pages and third-party records that could answer each branch, and mark facts that are missing, inconsistent or unsupported. We fix the strongest existing source where it can do the job. A distinct page earns its place only when the buyer has a distinct need. Then we repeat the approved prompt set and inspect the answer, cited sources, search traffic and leads separately. This is a coverage audit, not a list of guessed keywords or a promise of citation.

Answer engine optimization

The same work carries a second name. Answer engine optimization, or AEO, names the surface: the single answer an AI assistant writes back, where a business is either named accurately or left out of it. GEO names the mechanism that assembles that answer, and Suede AI runs the two as one practice. A vendor quoting answer engine optimization services should be able to show the same dated captures, shipped source fixes and third-party records described on this page. The buyer-side page for that phrasing is Answer Engine Optimization Agency, which covers what AEO services include and the questions to put to a provider. The definitions sit side by side on What is GEO and AEO?

Can ChatGPT do SEO?

Partly, and you should let it. ChatGPT and its peers are genuinely useful for drafts, content briefs, keyword expansion, outlines, schema stubs, and summarizing a competitive landscape. A competent team uses them for exactly that, and an agency that pretends otherwise is protecting billable hours rather than telling the truth.

What a chat window cannot do is the part that changes outcomes. It cannot tell you what the engines answer about your company over time. Asking once produces an anecdote, and the answers move between sessions, engines and accounts. It cannot earn third-party coverage, maintain an entity record, negotiate crawler access with your engineering team, or ship a fix to production and verify it on the live page. Those are the levers that move AI answers, and they sit outside the chat box.

There is an irony worth naming: the rise of ChatGPT made the non-writable parts of SEO more valuable, not less. Text is now cheap. Records, coverage, structure and proof are not, and they are what a synthesis engine leans on when it decides which names to include.

Is SEO dead now with AI?

No. Search still sends substantial traffic, and the technical and content foundations that make a page rank are largely the same ones that make it citable by an AI engine. Walking away from search would abandon a channel that still works and fail at the new one too. The new one reads the same pages.

What has ended is rank as the only scoreboard. A business can hold every ranking it has while disappearing from the AI answers its buyers read first, and nothing in a classic dashboard will say so: the eventual visit arrives as direct traffic, and absence from an answer produces no impression, no error, and no metric. The mechanism, and what to do about it, is walked through in Why does ChatGPT recommend your competitors instead of you?, and the two disciplines are compared point by point in GEO vs SEO.

How much should I pay for SEO services?

Pricing in this category runs three ways: hourly consulting, fixed-scope projects, and monthly retainers. What honestly drives the number is scope: how competitive the category is, how much repair the site needs, how much of the work is third-party (press, records, sources) rather than on-site, and above all whether implementation is included or the deliverable stops at a report. A report that names problems without repo or CMS access to fix them is the cheapest thing sold in this market, and it is priced accordingly for a reason; the implementation page explains how to tell the two apart before you sign.

One pricing signal is reliable on its own: anyone who guarantees a specific ranking, citation or revenue outcome is selling an outcome they do not control. Engines rewrite their answers without notice, and search results move the same way. Payment should buy work and evidence, not a promised position.

The thirty-day sprint is quoted case by case, with its scope set beside an agency and a tracking tool on the comparison page. The retainer is scoped in a reply to your email, and the practice is deliberately small. The first step is the free teardown, requested from the form on the home page. Whatever you pay, here or anywhere, tie it to work you can check: dated captures of what the engines said before and after, fixes listed one by one with their production URLs, and evidence you can open without asking permission. What AI SEO packages cost across the market is broken down in the AI SEO agency buyer guide.

How do you choose a generative engine optimization agency?

The label does not matter. A national SEO services firm, an SEO services company with an AI page, an LLM SEO company, an AI SEO agency, a generative engine optimization agency: the same questions expose all of them, and searching for the best SEO company in the USA mostly returns lists assembled by the companies on them. Ask these instead:

Six questions for any statement of work, from the implementation explainer: Which schema types will you add, by name? Do you get repo or CMS access, or do you hand our team a document? What is the production URL of the llms.txt you will maintain? How is each fix validated against the live rendered page? Do we get a before-and-after source diff? Is there a post-deploy readback confirming what shipped?

Then add the two questions specific to this category. First: how do you measure AI answers: on which engines, how many runs, over what period, and do we get the raw captures or only a score? A provider whose measurement design cannot be stated in a paragraph does not have one; ours is published in full as our generative engine optimization method. Second: what does your own record look like? An agency selling AI visibility should be able to point at its own entity record, its own coverage, and its own claims linked to sources, the standard this site holds itself to on the receipts page. A firm that cannot demonstrate the work on itself is asking you to be the experiment.

A GEO retainer is one line of work at Suede AI. The other is AI operations: managed AI agents for call review, lead qualification, script consistency across a sales team and the reporting around them. Where a business needs triage before any of that, the named offer is a forward deployed engineer, embedded with your team and shipping in your stack.

The short version

A generative engine optimization agency measures what AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google’s AI results) answer about a business, then repairs the sources those answers are assembled from. Advanced SEO services in 2026 span full-stack GEO, four fronts: classic technical and content SEO, measurement of AI answers with dated captures, repair of the third-party sources engines cite, and the press and entity records machines quote back. ChatGPT is useful for drafting and briefs but cannot measure engine answers over time, earn coverage, or ship fixes to production. SEO is not dead. Rank simply stopped being the only scoreboard: buyers increasingly read a written answer before any list of links. Pricing runs hourly, project, or retainer, and should be tied to checkable work (dated captures, shipped fixes listed one by one, before-and-after evidence) rather than to promised positions, which no provider controls. Evaluate any agency, whatever it calls itself, by whether it measures answers as well as rankings, names the fixes it will ship rather than the report it will send, and links its own claims to evidence you can open.
