What your team receives

  1. Claim-to-source registerExact statements connected to the records that support them and the scope those records establish.
  2. Evidence gaps and severity notesMissing, outdated or conflicting support prioritized by its relevance to the buyer decision.
  3. Revision recommendationsPractical wording changes and owner requests that the publishing team can review and implement.

A defined scope, an accountable owner and a useful handover.

Identify the claims that deserve close review

We select pages and statements with commercial significance: service capabilities, results, credentials, affiliations, product behavior and comparisons. The inventory records the exact wording and where it appears. Repeated versions in metadata, FAQs and related pages are included when they could leave the business communicating conflicting facts.

The review distinguishes a factual claim from an aspiration, opinion or clearly labeled example. Each type needs appropriate treatment. A statement about a completed result needs records of what happened; an explanation of a proposed workflow needs to match the actual service. This prevents a broad source link from being used to support an unrelated assertion.

Check what the source actually establishes

We trace each selected claim to the available evidence and assess its scope, date and relevance. For a numerical result, that includes the period, sample and measurement definition. For a credential or affiliation, it includes the named entity and current status represented by the record. The register notes missing context as precisely as the claim itself.

A first-party record can establish what the business publishes or offers. Independent coverage can establish what a publication reported. Repetition across owned websites does not create independent corroboration. We retain these distinctions so the revised page presents evidence with accurate attribution and avoids implying more than the source supports.

Turn evidence gaps into precise content decisions

Each issue receives an action: add the missing context, update the source, narrow the wording, remove an unsupported detail or obtain verification from the responsible owner. We prioritize statements that could materially affect a buying decision. The output gives the content team an actionable revision instead of a vague confidence score.

The handover records the proposed wording and the evidence behind it. Approved revisions can then be carried into metadata, FAQs and related pages so the correction remains consistent. A later change to the underlying fact has an identifiable owner and source, making future reviews faster and more reliable.

How the work is delivered

  1. Build the claim register Capture consequential statements, their locations and the business decision each one supports.
  2. Review the evidence Read the available sources and identify scope, freshness, attribution and missing context.
  3. Recommend precise revisions Provide a supported wording or a clear evidence request, with priority and ownership.

Example: a result without its measurement period

Illustrative example

A hypothetical service page reports a percentage improvement but omits the time window and baseline. We inspect the underlying record, identify what was actually measured and recommend wording that includes the relevant context. If that record is unavailable, the revision uses only the capabilities the business can substantiate.

Questions about Content Evidence Audit

Does this constitute legal review?

This is an editorial claim-to-source review. Your qualified adviser or responsible business owner reviews legal, regulated or professional assertions where that expertise is required. The register gives them the wording and supporting records in one place.

What happens when a claim has no evidence?

We identify the missing support and propose a clear next action. That may be obtaining an existing record, narrowing the claim to an established fact or removing the unsupported detail. The revised copy keeps the supported offer clear.
